Ahh Fake Jobs was on his game... creating quite a stink with the whole Chokehold ordeal. Definitely one of the more enjoyable articles - and I agree.. one of the longer ones that I've read too. I notice that if an article gets too long, I'll tend to skim the highlights a lot more than I normally do.

It'd be interesting to here your perspective on both of the companies, because I'll agree that they are essentially one and the same (except that we may get it a tad worse, at least in pricing plans). I hate talking about Rogers, because it's so much more personal with them digging into my pockets - I'd get all riled up and never stop writing.

It's also interesting to see how AT&T is dealing with all of the negative publicity - they're backpedaling pretty solidly (http://www.businessweek.com/technology/content/dec2009/tc20091221_605613.htm) - de la Vega has had a pretty prominent presence in the last couple of weeks. All of the publicity surrounding it is better for us consumers, though. After all, consumers create demand, and if demands aren't met then there won't be much demand. We deserve a little bit of say, don't we?

It was probably my favorite post from Fake Steve Jobs, and probably the longest article I read end-to-end in a while (140 character syndrome). Thanks for the shout-out. Impressively written through comedy, the article made a lot of good points. Also, as someone who's used both AT&T and Rogers, I was hoping you would include a reference to Rogers, they're in my mind the equivalent of AT&T in Canada.
