Say what?
Youtube is very very sneaky… in the sense that it blocked only the audio on my video because they found copyrighted material in the audio (fair enough… good job youtube). Anyway – made a little vid vid over the weekend to show what my Flip MinoHD can do! The ability to embed facebook videos is pretty sweet though – I didn’t know it was possible! So eat that youtube – copyrighted material strung all over the place!
My iMovie skills are rusty.. the new version is quuiiiteee different from iMovie HD (6.0.3), which is what I used to make the Grad video in highschool. The new one though (iMovie 8.#.#) is quite slick! Of course, takes a while to get used to, but as I start to make more shorts (damn it, yes I will), I’m sure I’ll get back into the full swing of things!
Started watching some old videos from our high school basketball games (Coalbowl tournament) – it was a pretty sweet look back into good times. The sad part is that there is absolutely no way to replicate what we had back then… in no way can you get a 5 or 6 night a week dedication out of a group of guys and play competitively against another team of guys who are willing to do the same. Thank God (and the tournament organizers) for making this little momento.
I think that I’m going to rip the DVDs of the games (did one already… first time I’ve ever ripped a DVD) and then share them with torrents to the rest of the team! I think it’d be a cool little ordeal, and everyone should have a copy. I was thinking about doing the same with the Grad video that I made… probably the best way to share a video with 300+ people (granted I probably won’t be able to reach all 300.. but still).
