Welcome to Life!

Well, in some way or another, you’ve arrived at Life of db! Welcome.

Initially, I’ll introduce myself. I’m Dylan Blanchard (herein referred to as db). I’m currently studying towards a B. Comm degree at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. On the side, I’m the co-founder of a start up photography studio (Studio-28) with another great photographer (Stephen Harris) where we aim to capture trendy and edgy portraits. Beyond that, I’m (slightly) Mac obsessed and have really taken a liking to the design side of the world.

Anywho, here on Life of db, I’m looking to explore and grow, both in photography and design. Join me in discovering the possibilities of the web – allowing me to learn from you, and you to learn from me. Along the way, I plan on showing you both my finished work and my present projects in the making. Hopefully I’ll be able to share with you my insight that I have gathered from around the web and through pure Trial & Exploration.
